The Royal Welsh is now the only line infantry regiment in Wales and has inherited a distinguished military tradition from its predecessors, The Royal Welch Fusiliers and The Royal Regiment of Wales. Our shared history reaches back over 330 years to 1689. Our story is a continuation of that of our forebears; we are Welsh Warriors.
